Biography

BROWN’S WSU CAREER. SENIOR (2019): In her final season as a coug, she had an injury filled season. She played in 10 matches and 21 sets. Brown's play stiill landed her 9th in All-Time assists (2,234) and 10th in assists per set (8.06). 
 
JUNIOR (2018):
Selected to the 2018 U.S. Collegiate National Team-Detroit...Guided the offense in 2018 with 1,364 total assists, fourth best in the Pac-12 in the stat category, and also ranked sixth overall in the conference in assists per set with 10.50...Posted a career-high 59 assists against No. 21 Arizona...Also tied career-highs in service aces with four, and in digs with 21 as well...Currently ranked eighth all-time in WSU Volleyball history in total assists with 2,108 in 256 sets, and ranks 10th all-time in assists per set at 8.23 throughout her WSU career as well....Selected to the All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention Team...Selected to the Cougar Challenge All-Tournament Team.
 
SOPHOMORE (2017): Integral part of WSU’s 6-2 offense and later in the season ran the 5-1...named to Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invite All-Tournament Team...averaged 5.90 assists per set overall/5.75 aps in Pac-12...career-high 57 assists in WSU’s NCAA First Round win over Florida State was the most assists in a four-set match during the 2017 NCAA Volleyball Championship Tournament and tied for the most by a Pac-12 setter in any match this season...48 assists, six kills (.545) in win at No. 20 Oregon...54 assists and 15 digs in 3-1 win over Arizona State 11/22/17...tallied 23 assists and 21 digs at Missouri State 9/15/17...served four aces, 11 digs in 3-2 loss to Baylor 8/31/17...four aces is second-most in a five-set match in Pac-12 this year...six double-doubles in 2017.
 
BROWN'S PRE-WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2016): Saw limited action in one season at the University of Oklahoma…Sooners had a 14-15 overall record and were 5-11 in Big 12 action for seventh-place in 2016…transferred to WSU in January 2017…spring training and conditioning with Cougars.
 
BROWN’S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned four varsity letters at Prosper High School…three as a setter for coach Erin Kauffman and one as a quartermiler on the track team…three-year starting setter and two-time team captain…Eagles team was the runner-up at the state championships in 2013…twice named Texas Girls Coaching Association (TGCA) 5A All-State selection (2015 and 2015)…two-time Dallas Morning News First Team selection and a three-time All-District First Team selection…named the District MVP in 2014 and the District Setter of the Year in 2015 after leading Prosper HS into the District Championships both years…three-time Academic All-District selection….played on the Lonestar Volleyball and Texas Advantage Volleyball Club teams over a period of seven years…was named to the 17-Open National All-Tournament team in summer of 2015 after her team placed third at the prestigious tournament…selected to USAV 18-Open Nationals All-Tournament team and the AAU 18-Open Nationals All-Tournament team…national recognition with in PrepVolleyball.com’s Sophomore 79 list, Top 50 Junior list, and was number 76 on the Senior Aces list…named to AVCA Under Armour All-America Honorable Mention team.
 
PERSONAL. Born in January 1998, in Arlington, Texas…father Robert is the sales manager for North American aerospace products…he played hockey professionally in Finland…mother Stacey is the senior marketing manager for NEC…younger brother Derek…planning to major in Communications at WSU.
