Presley Wetterstrom

Presley Wetterstrom joins the Washington State coaching staff after ending an outstanding four-year career as a student-athlete for the Cougars.
Last season, Wetterstrom finished the year with 11 individual wins, tying for the second-most wins on the team. She broke the school record at the Ohio State Invitational in the 200 breaststroke and also finished with the fourth-fastest time in school history in the 100 breaststroke, an NCAA ‘B’ Standard Time. At the Pac-12 Championships, she finished with the seventh-best time in school history in the 200 IM.
As a junior, she broke the school record in the 200 breaststroke and had a career-best performance in the 100 breast at the Hawkeye Invitational. During her sophomore campaign, Wetterstrom took first in 400 IM, third in 200 breaststroke, and fifth in 100 breaststroke at Stanford. She also placed first in the 200 breaststroke against USC.
A native of Colfax, Calif., Wetterstrom was named to the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic First Team three times. Her 3.98 GPA was tied for the second-highest on the team last season.
