WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
Junior (2021) – Played in five matches on the year recording one shot... made her first appearance against Arkansas State (Aug. 19) recording her only shot of the year... played a season-high 27 minutes against Eastern Washington (Aug. 28).
Sophomore (2021 Spring) – Made her season debut versus Utah (Feb. 26) before playing in six games with three starts...first collegiate start came against Utah (Feb. 28) playing a season-high 69 minutes while her first official Pac-12 start came at #5 UCLA (April 2)...named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in her first year of eligibility.
Freshman (2019) – Saw action in seven games in her first season including suiting up for the Cougs’ in the postseason during their run to the College Cup… played in the defensive backfield logging 73 minutes.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER
Playing only club soccer during her high school years, Dimry was a member of one of the top club soccer programs on the West Coast, the San Diego Surf in the US Soccer Development Academy … in her final season the Surf finished second in the Southwest Division going 26-5-1 in the regular season to earn the No. 7 seed in the playoffs … the team finished the season with 126 goals scored, the second most among all academy teams, while allowing 40 for a +86 goal differential.
PERSONAL
Sophie Dimry is the daughter of Erin and Charles … she has five siblings, Erin, Carlee, CJ, Soleil, and Gia … CJ was a two-time letterwinning receiver for the Cougars' football team and graduated in 2017 … father Charles played 12 seasons in the NFL after starring at UNLV.
