Chris Paige

Chris Paige joined the Washington State staff in April of 2022 as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.  He serves as the primary media contact for women's volleyball, track & field and cross country programs.

Paige comes to WSU after serving as the Director of Athletic Communications at Westminster College, a member of the NCAA Division II and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).  At Westminster, he oversaw communications and digital media efforts for all 15 varsity athletic programs.   In addition to managing all statistical reporting and historical information for the department, he also produced live streaming for all home athletic events, implementing a new video streaming platform while managing all camera equipment, audio equipment as well as production of all live production graphics.

Prior to Westminster, Paige spent time as a Communications/Public Relations Assistant at the University of South Carolina where he served as the primary media contact for the Gamecocks' men's tennis, and men's and women's swimming and diving programs.  While at Carolina, he helped publicize the first ever men's and women's tennis matches to be played at a professional Grand Slam as the Gamecocks traveled to the 2019 Australian Open for its regular-season opener against Southern Cal.  Paige assisted the USC communications department as a member of the stat crew for basketball and football.  He also helped input stats at multiple NCAA Championship events in Columbia including the 2018 Division I Softball Columbia Regional, the 2018 Division I Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds, and the 2019 Division I Men's Basketball First and Second Rounds.
 
Paige earned his Master's in Business Administration from Southwest Minnesota State University where he served for two years as an Assistant Athletic Communications Director.  At SMSU, he helped manage gamedays for all varsity sports and was the primary media contact for women's volleyball, women's soccer, women's basketball, wrestling, and softball.  During his graduate school education, Paige also spent time as a Media Relations Training Camp Intern in the NFL with the Denver Broncos.

A University of Colorado Boulder graduate, Paige assisted the award-winning CU Sports Information Office and earned his bachelor's degree in Journalism/Media Studies from the College of Media, Communication and Information.  He and his fiance, Sarena, reside in Pullman with their three cats and dog, Rocky.
