SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Cross Country - Finished Sundodger seventh overall/fourth on team...at Notre Dame Joe Piane Invite 48th overall/fourth on team...at Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invite 110th overall/fifth on team...at Pac-12 Championships fourth on team/27th overall...at NCAA West Region 10k finished fifth on team/47th overall (30:39.0)...at NCAA Championships, was spiked early in race and did not finish...one of 10 members named to the Pac-12 Cross Country All-Academic Second Team...Indoor - Ran mile PR at WSU Cougar Indoor (2/4/17, Pullman) with a time of 4:20.84i for fourth...at MPSF Championships (2/25/17, Seattle) ran 3000m PR with a time of 8:18.59 for 28th and ran 5000m PR with a time of 14:32.11 for 23rd...Outdoor - Ran PR in 1500m with a time of 3:59.80 for sixth at Trojan Invitational (3/18/17, Los Angeles).
 
FRESHMAN (2015-16): Cross Country - At Clash of Inland NW was second Cougar, seventh overall with 6k time of 18:07.2...third WSU runner, fifth overall at Sundodger 8k in time of  24:21.29...third on team, 41st overall at Washington Invite 8k in time of 24:02.9...fifth and final WSU scorer at PreNats, 132nd overall with 8k time of 23:31.8...at Pac-12 Championships, 57th overall and sixth Cougar in time of 24:56.1...at NCAA West Regionals seventh on team, 107th overall in 10k time of 33:17.5...fourth Cougars and 174th overall at NCAA Championships (31:38.5)…Indoor - Opened indoor season with 800m time of 1:57.09i at UW Preview (1/16/16, Seattle)….at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships ran 3000m in time of 8:27.64i (33rd)…Outdoor - PR in 3000m steeplechase was time of 9:20.68 at Mt. SAC Relays for 26th (4/15/16, Norwalk)…at Pac-12 Championships ran steeplechase in time of 9:21.65 for 15th place.
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. At Terry Fox Secondary School played point guard in basketball for coach Steve Hanson…competed for coach and father Vid Wadhwani in cross country and track…awarded Terry Fox Athletics Award of Distinction as a senior in 2014…in cross country, overcame injury sophomore year to finish 16th at Provincial Cross Country Championships…junior year moved up to fifth place and won Provincial 6300m championship as a senior…during junior XC season, finished fifth at 2012 Nike Pre-Nationals Cross Country 5k Danner Championship Varsity race…placed eighth in the 5k high school seeded section at Stanford Invitational…on the track, placed second overall at Provincial Track and Field Championships for 3000m as a sophomore and won 1500m and 300m titles as senior…member of Team Canada at 2013 IAAF World Youth Track & Field Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, with 16th place in 3000m…at B.C. Provincial championships, for 3000m and 1500m as a senior…member of Golden Ears Eagles Athletics club team.
 
PERSONAL. Born in May 1996, in British Columbia, Canada…parents Vid and Alanna…Vid competed in track and cross country at Simon Fraser University…younger brothers Isaac - also on the WSU cross country/track team - and Jacob…older sister Ashley…majoring in finance at WSU.
