SOPHOMORE (2025): Appeared in all 13 games, one as a starter…had 17 tackles with four tackles-for-loss including 2.5 sacks…forced one fumble, batted down two passes and recorded three quarterback hurries…forced a fumble in season-opening win over Idaho…had a tackle-for-loss in Apple Cup…shared a tackle-for-loss in win at Colorado State…made four tackles at No. 18 Virginia…had a sack at Oregon State…made 1.5 sacks in win over Louisiana Tech…had two stops at No. 21 James Madison…had one tackle and a pass breakup against Utah State in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl win.
NEW MEXICO STATE
FRESHMAN (2024): Played in all 12 games during the season, totaling 33 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and one sack…added five QB hurries and two pass break-ups…named to 2024 Conference USA All-Freshman Team…season-high six tackles, including a 2-yard sack, at Jacksonville State…had four tackles at both Fresno State and Texas A&M.
HIGH SCHOOL
While at Mountain View, Ta'ase was a four-year contributor – playing in 36 games and compiling over 200 tackles…included a sophomore campaign in which he recorded a team-high eight sacks while adding 74 tackles.

Rated a three-star edge rusher and the No. 40 overall recruit in the state of Arizona in 2022…was originally committed to play at Nevada, however, decommitted shortly after the departure of Head Coach Jay Norvell.
