RS-FRESHMAN (2025): 2025 Jerry Rice Award Finalist…FCS Football Central Freshman All-American…Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-American…Big Sky Freshman of the Year…Big Sky All-Conference (Honorable Mention)…Stats Perform FCS National Freshman Player of the Week (Sept. 1, 2025)…FCS Nation Radio National Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 14, 2025)…three-time 2025 Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week…played in and started 12 games at quarterback…finished second in final Jerry Rice Award voting…ended the season 240-for-345 for 3,206 passing yards, adding 32 passing touchdowns with only 10 interceptions thrown…averaged 267.2 passing yards per game and 13.4 passing yards per completion… added 437 rushing yards on 125 attempts, scoring three touchdowns on the ground…combined for 3,643 total offensive yards and 35 total touchdowns, averaging for 303.6 total offensive yards per game…led the Big Sky in passing efficiency (172.4), passing touchdowns, passing yards per completion, points responsible for per game (17.7), total offense and yards per pass attempt (9.3)…ranked top five nationally in passing efficiency (third), passing touchdowns (fourth) and yards per pass attempt (fourth)…finished eighth in the nation in passing yards and passing yards per game…ended ninth in the nation in completion percentage…became only the ninth Aggie quarterback to throw for at least 400 yards in a game…is only the second quarterback in program history to throw for over 400 yards in a playoff game…twice threw for five touchdowns in a game, becoming only the second quarterback in program history to throw for five or more touchdowns in a single game twice in the same season and all-time…led second half 17-point comeback at Utah Tech (Aug. 30), going 21-for-31 for 253 passing yards and three passing touchdowns…hit Samuel Gbatu, Jr., for an 85-yard touchdown pass against Weber State (Sept. 27), tying for the eight-longest passing play in the nation and in program history…cracked 300 yards for the first time in career with a 21-for-26 performance (80.8%) at Cal Poly (Oct. 4), throwing for 313 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 60 yards on 11 attempts and one rushing touchdown…completed a season-high 86.2 percent of passes against Northern Arizona (Oct. 11), leading the Aggies to victory going 25-for-29 with 348 passing yards and a career-high five passing touchdowns…in third-straight game with over 300 passing yards, tossed 325 yards while going 23-for-32 against Idaho State (Nov. 1)…passed for 306 yards against Sacramento State (Nov. 22), going 24-for-30 with two passing touchdowns in Causeway Classic victory…for second game in the season, tied career-high with five passing touchdowns, going 17-for-29 throwing 277 yards in NCAA FCS Playoff Second Round victory over Rhode Island (Dec. 6), added 99 rushing yards on 15 carries for a total of 376 offensive yards…set a career-high with 402 passing yards, adding three passing touchdowns against Illinois State (Dec. 13) in the NCAA FCS Playoff Quarterfinals.

FRESHMAN (2024): Saw action in one game, against Northern Colorado (Nov. 2), making collegiate debut in Aggie win….redshirt season…also was on Aggie baseball team but did not see any game action.

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-sport standout in football, basketball, and baseball…one of the most decorated quarterbacks in program history, passing for 4,625 yards and 57 touchdowns while rushing for 657 yards and 13 scores across his career…as a SENIOR, threw for 2,946 yards and 30 TDs while adding 500 rushing yards and nine TDs, leading Del Oro to a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division II Championship appearance…also delivered on the hardwood, highlighted by a 42-point performance in the 2024 section championship game at Golden 1 Center…in baseball, competed as a right-handed hitter and versatile position player…earned recognition as one of Northern California’s top under-recruited athletes.

Hometown is Roseville, Calif…born in Denver, Colorado…son of Heidi Pinnick…cousin is NFL tight end Stone Smartt, who starred at Old Dominion, and is currently playing for the New York Jets…played piano for 15 years…career plans include finance, sales, or real estate.
