WSU CAREER, FRESHMAN (2011-12): Cross Country - Scored in five of seven competitions...placed seventh at Erik Anderson...fourth on team and 106th overall at Notre Dame...10th place at Inland Northwest Classic...second Cougar, 71st overall at Pac-12 Championships...third scorer on team and 72nd overall with 6k time of 21:50 at NCAA West Regionals for the Cougar women.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Four-sport athlete from Northern Collegiate Institute and Vacational School in Ontario...ran both track and field and cross country for coach Mark Scott...also participated in volleyball and on swim team...captain of both cross country team and track and field team for the 2010-11 season...LSSAA individual and team champion all four years in cross country...SWOSSAA first place individual finish all four years, as well as two-time team champion in cross country...team finished fifth at OFSAA for cross country, with an individual finish of tenth place...took second place in the 1500m and first place in the 3000m at OFSAA as a senior...finished second at the Walt Disney classic cross country race in Orlando, Florida...three-time champion of the 800m in track and field at LSSAA, with two championships in the same event at SWOSSAA...champion of the high jump freshman year...added first place finishes in the 1500m and 3000m at LSSAA as well as SWOSSAA...champion of the 800m and 1500m at west regionals, earning her recognition as athlete of the meet... holds school records for 800m (2:15.25) and 1500m (4:38.26)... ran 1500m in 4:30.38 this summer.

PERSONAL: Born in June 1993, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada...father Robert is a consultant...mother Flory is a teacher...older sister Kelly...younger sister Christine...enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, and swimming...helped organize "The Incredible Quest" in hometown Sarnia, raising $1000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association...was a member of the "Stay on Track" program on her track and field team in 2011...areas of interest for study at WSU include math and biology.
