HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Washougal High School...three in cross country...two under coach Jim Reed and one for coach Terry Howard...four in track and field for coach Dave Hajek...served as captain of both the cross country and track and field teams for his junior and senior years...placed seventy-fourth in state cross country as a sophomore, fourth as a junior, and was state runner-up in his senior year...placed fifth in state as a junior in the 3200m race...was undefeated in the 3200m in outdoor track in his senior year...set three school records as a senior in distance running...was the 2010 cross country athlete of the year for Clark County.
