HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned nine varsity letters at Bozeman High School in three different sports...four in cross country for coach Clint May...three in track and field for coach John Griffith...two in cheerleading for coach Lacy Browne...given the award for most valuable cheerleader as a freshman...three-time individual AA state champion in cross country, with four team state championships...cross country team broke the Montana state AA record scoring 30 points in her junior year...first place in state in the 3200m...finished first place in state in the 4X4 twice...won the Bozeman Triple Letter award in both her junior and senior years...three-time Gatorade player of the year for cross country...nominated to academic all state team three times each for cross country and track...rounded out her high school career with a second place finish at Nike cross regionals and an eleventh place finish at nationals her senior year.
