BORN: December 12, 1951 (45), Yreka, Calif.
HOMETOWN: Yreka, Calif.
HIGH SCHOOL: Yreka High, 1970 - Earned three football letters as a wide receiver and defensive back...senior year named to the All-Northern California team...four letters in basketball with All-Northern California selection senior year.
COLLEGE: College of Siskiyous, 1970-72 - Played two seasons for head coach Jim Ray.
Nevada-Las Vegas, 1972-75 - Received degree in secondary education...outstanding wide receiver for Rebels...led team in receptions senior year...redshirted in 1972 following knee injury, then came back to letter in 1973 and 1974.
COACHING EXPERIENCE: Nevada-Las Vegas, 1975 - Coached the wide receivers.
Nevada-Reno, 1976-79 - Coached the wide receivers for two years, 1976-77, then became the Wolf Pack's secondary coach for two seasons, 1978-79.
Northern Arizona, 1980-83 - Coached the Lumberjacks' secondary for four years.
Idaho, 1984-85 - Joined the Vandals as secondary coach for Dennis Erickson for a two-year stint;
Wyoming, 1986 - Moved to Wyoming for the 1986 season with Erickson as secondary coach.
Washington State, 1987-88 - Joined Erickson in the move to WSU, coaching the secondary for two seasons...the 1988 Cougar team won the Aloha Bowl over Houston.
Idaho, 1989-93 - Joined Vandal head coach John L. Smith as defensive coordinator when Smith left WSU to take over the Idaho program...also coached the safeties for five years...the 1990 Vandal secondary led the Big Sky with 29 interceptions and 39 take-aways...in 1992 Idaho had the best defense in the Big Sky and ranked seventh in the nation.
Washington State, 1994 - Returned to WSU as secondary coach for Mike Price.

SPOUSE: Kaprice, former WSU's women's volleyball coach in 1985.
