Eric Michael Price - Quarterback Coach
BORN: September 12, 1966 (31); Pullman, Wash.
HOMETOWN: Ogden, Utah
HIGH SCHOOL: Ogden High, 1985 - Coached by Dave Brown...quarterback and safety as a junior, then wide receiver and cornerback senior year...caught 77 passes for over 1,000 yards during career...USA Today honorable mention All-American as a senior...first team All-State, all-league and all-area honoree...leading receiver in the State.
COLLEGE:
University of Utah, 1986 - Enrolled for spring semester and participated in spring drills for head coach Jim Fassel.
Dixie Junior College, 1986-87 - Head coach Greg Crowshaw...graduated with an AA degree...two-year starter at wide receiver.
Weber State University, 1988-91 - Wide receiver under two head coaches, his father Mike Price, and for Dave Arslanian, who replaced Price in 1989...graduated with a degree in physical education and a minor in health.
COACHING EXPERIENCE:
Australian Football, 1985 - taught two Australian club teams basic football fundamentals and basic strategies.
Weber State, 1990 - As a student assistant, coached wide receivers and tight ends; coached Walter Payton Award winner Jamie Martin...WSC led all 1-AA teams in passing.
Washington State, 1991 - Student assistant coaching duties during spring included coaching wide receivers with Mike Levenseller and helped with the quarterbacks, among them Drew Bledsoe.
University of Hawaii, 1991 - Joined Bob Wagner's staff as a graduate assistant, helping coach wide receivers...Hawaii's 1991 offense ranked fifth in the nation in 1991.
University of Miami, 1992-93 - Graduate assistant for head coach Dennis Erickson...coached wide receivers and ran the defensive scout team...Miami's three receivers in 1992 went on to start in the NFL...Hurricanes ranked first nationally in passing offense in 1992 and played for the national title in the Sugar Bowl...team 20-4 in two years.
Cal Poly, SLO, 1994-95 - Assistant coach for Andre Patterson, coaching wide recievers...also working with kickoff and kickoff return teams and coordinated all video operations...recruited San Diego and Orange County areas...CP-SLO ranked second in the nation (1-AA) in passing and total offense in 1995...coached the school's number one, two and four career receivers.
Northern Arizona, 1996-97 - Assistant coach for Steve Axman...handled wide receivers and assisted with the quarterbacks...team ranked first nationally (1-AA) in total offense in 1996 and third inpassing...reached the 1-AA playoffs for the first time in school history...team featured a first-ever quarterback with over 3,000 yards and a running back with more than 2,000 yards...recruited Southern California area...also served as team's academic coordinator.
