MINNERS' HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned two varsity letters each in football and baseball...defensive back for gridiron team and shortstop and catcher in baseball...as a JUNIOR team finished 10-3 and second in the conference standings...one interception...SENIOR year team won city title and finished 13-1...50 tackles...earned all-conference second team honors as a defensive back...best game a 10-solo tackle performance.

MINNERS' CITRUS CC CAREER

  • Freshman (1996-97): Coached by John Rome for two seasons...picked off three passes, including two in the last game of the year, and deflected nine...credited with 35 tackles.
  • Sophomore (1997-98): Picked off one pass, which he returned for a touchdown against Chaffey College...team 5-5 finish after winning just two games the previous year...missed much of the year with ankle injuries.
