EMMERSON'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned two varsity letters in football for coach Ted Homme and also two in baseball and one in basketball...was named the defensive team captain on the FRESHMAN football team and defensive player of the year on the freshman basketball team...repeated honors as defensive player of the year on the SOPHOMORE basketball team...JV defensive player of the year as a JUNIOR on the basketball team...as a SENIOR...was named the varsity basketball defensive player of the year and was team captain...defensive team captain in football...earned second team All-Big 9 conference honors as a defensive back...team captain of the baseball team...earned second team All-Big 9 conference honors as a centerfielder.

Freshman (1995-96): Did not play football in the fall...walked on in the spring.
RS-Freshman (1996-97): V-letter...saw reserve action as a linebacker and a member of special teams...played in 10 of WSU's 11 games, missing the season opener at Colorado...recorded one primary tackle against Temple.
RS-Sophomore (1997-98): V-letter...appeared in all 12 games as a backup linebacker and a member of special teams...tallied 11 total tackles...two pass deflections, both in the Illinois game...best game of the season came against Southwestern Louisiana, recording a career high three tackles...earned the following weekly team awards: Most Disciplined Special Teams - USC, Oregon.
RS-Junior (1998-99): V-letter...appeared in all 11 games with two starts, Arizona State and Arizona in back-to-back games...in first start against Sun Devils, recorded a career-high 13 tackles, 11 primary...had four tackles against USC and two tackles in four other games...earned the following game awards: Most Disciplined Defense - Illinois; Most Disciplined Special Teams - BSU; Pac-10 Defense - ASU; Defensive Pursuit - ASU.
