ZUBEDI'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Coached by Bart Goldstien while earning one varsity letter in football...also earned one letter in basketball...first attended Carson-Graham High in North Vancouver, then spent his junior and senior years at Chaffey High in Ontario, Calif....SENIOR year named football team's MVP while playing both ways...first team All-Mt. Baldy League pick as an athlete...all-league academic honors as well...during basketball season starting point guard and named the team's most valuable defensive player...all-league honorable mention...graduated June 1996.

ZUBEDI'S WSU CAREER

  • Freshman (1996-97): Redshirt season.
  • RS-Freshman (1997-98): V-letter...limited action with no receptions in eight games...also played in WSU's junior varsity game at Walla Walla Community College...did not play in the last three games of the season.
  • RS-Sophomore (1998-99): V-letter...played in 10 Cougar games, catching seven passes for 56 yards...caught three passes against USC for 30 yards and had two receptions for 12 yards at Stanford.
  • RS-Junior (1999-00): V-letter...started all but the Stanford game while seeing action in every contest...caught at least one pass against each of WSU's first six opponents, then did not have a catch against ASU, OSU and Washington...only TD reception against Arizona...best game five receptions for 50 yards at Hawaii in WSU's season-ending win and five for 46 yards against USC...caught four passes for 79 yards at Stanford and four for 58 against Idaho...earned the following team awards: Utah/Special Teams Big Play; Stanford/Specialist of the Week.
