RS-FRESHMAN (2008): Earned varsity letter after playing in nine games on season, six in a starting role...totaled 20 tackles (14 solo), 0.5 tackles-for-loss and three pass break-ups...first career start came against California, registering two tackles and 0.5 TFL...started five of next six games until ankle injury suffered against USC forced him to miss four of final five games...season-high six tackles against USC, including four solo...also had five tackles in opener against Oklahoma State...had three kick returns for 45 yards, including long of 23 against Oklahoma State.
