HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned three varsity letter playing for head coach Mike Alberghini at Grant...as a SOPHOMORE had eight tackles and a sack...team went 14-0 en route to State championship, defeating Long Beach Poly 25-20 in title game...JUNIOR year team went 12-1, falling in section title game... was second on the team in tackles with 110, including seven sacks and two fumble recoveries...had double-digit tackles on four occasions, including season-best 15...named to All-Metro League first team at linebacker and was selected to Sacramento Bee's All-Metro Team...SENIOR season was named to Cal-Hi Sports preseason All-Sac-Joaquin Section football team...finished season with a team-leading 150 tackles, including five sacks...team went 13-1, falling in Sac-Joaquin Section title game for second straight season...named to Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team and NorCalPreps.com All-NorCal second team...repeated as an All-Metro League first team linebacker.
