FRESHMAN (1999-2000): Indoor -Finished 8th at MPSF Championships (2/25/00, Reno)…top leap of season was a 2.10m/6-10 3/4i leap to win the high jump at the Vandal Indoor (2/18/00, Moscow)…Outdoor - Finished fifth in the high jump at the Pac-10 Championships with a leap of 2.06m/6-9…best leap of season was 2.10m/6-10 3/4 accomplished at Willie Williams Classic (3/18/00, Tucson) and at WSU Invite (5/6/00, Pullman).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Began high school at Kettle Falls where he played one year of varsity basketball…moved to Colville High and lettered twice in track and field for coach Bill Carpenter, and two more times in basketball for Paul Dumas…SOPHOMORE year played on center on the Kettle Falls basketball team which placed fifth in NE A League…began track career JUNIOR year…won the Pasco Invitational high jump at 6-9…was the Great Northern League high jump champion…placed second at state meet with 6-10 jump…voted most inspirational…started on basketball team…during summer won two Junior Olympics meets with leaps of 6-10 and 6-6…placed 11th at Junior Nationals in Seattle at 6-6 3/4…SENIOR seasons was basketball team captain and voted offensive MVP…set school record with 13 blocks in one game…averaged 10 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4 blocks per game…team was State 2A Academic Champions with 3.6 GPA…was the State 2A high jump champion at 6-8.
