Played basketball at Iowa State for two seasons...as a SOPHOMORE (2011-12), played 13 games, averaging 0.5 points and 0.7 rebounds a game in 3.5 minutes of action...during FRESHMAN (2010-11) season, averaged 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 25 games, playing nine minutes per game...recorded the third-most blocks on the team with 20.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played basketball at Beaverton High School for head coach Erik Lathren...junior year team made it to the second round of playoffs... as a senior, led the state of Oregon with 111 blocked shots as the team advanced to the second round of playoffs...ranked No. 1 for blocks in Class 6A with an average of 4.6...averaged 13.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game...Scout.com listed him as the third-best center on the West Coast...2010-11 Dean's List with a 3.55 GPA.
