GENERAL: Earned three letters in baseball under head coach Brian Gladwell as a pitcher, catcher and a shortstop...JUNIOR: Hit .392 at the plate with 27 RBIs…as a pitcher was 5-1 with a 2.78 ERA…struck out 63 while walking only 12…team placed seventh in state…team captain... SENIOR: At the plate hit .500 with 47 runs batted in…on the mound compiled a 0.92 ERA, nine wins, and 109 strike outs…team finished first in regionals…Utah All-Star Game MVP.
FRESHMAN (1996-97): Was 7-3 on the mound while pitching in 49.1 innings…7.18 ERA…played for coach Skip Walker… SOPHOMORE (1997-98): Was 7-1 on the mound with a 4.06 ERA…pitched in 63.2 innigs, striking out 61.
JUNIOR (1998-99): Enrolled in August transferring from College of Southern Idaho… had a successful last half of the season despite being slowed with shoulder problems… finished the year 1-1 with a 9.35 ERA… made his WSU debut against NMSU on Feb. 13 with a 1.2 inning outing… started his first game of the year against LCSC and picked up the loss… pitched well in that game allowing only two runs and four hits in four innings… picked up first win of the season against UW at Husky Ballpark on May 21… combined with teammate Zach Fisher for a shutout against Portland on May 13… struck out three and did not allow a hit in two innings against the Pilots… longest outing of the year of three innings came against nationally ranked Stanford on April 1… was 4-0 with a 3.40 ERA with the Santa Maria Indians in summer of 1999… also helped coach the Clayton, Utah, American Legion baseball team and Ogden Outlaw Connie Mack team in summer of 1999… had shoulder surgery in September and is expected to be ready for the 2000 season… monthly totals: February 3.2i/0-0/9.82, March 5.1i/0-1/8.44., April 3.2i/0-0/19.64, May 4.2i/1-0/1.93... pitching against league opponents: ARIZ (DNP), ASU (DNP), CAL 1.0i/0-0/9.00, OSU 0.0i/0-0/99.00, STAN 3.0i/0-0/9.00, UCLA (DNP), USC 0.1i/0-0/0.00, Washington 1.2i/1-0/0.00.
