13 Associated Press /ESPN/USA Today) will face Vanderbilt in the
second round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament in Sacramento, Calif.,
March 17...game time is 2:40 p.m. and will air on CBS...Cougars
are the No. 3 seed in East Region...Commodores are the No. 6 seed.
COUGARS DEFEAT GOLDEN EAGLES: Washington State's
70-54 victory over Oral Roberts in the first round of the NCAA
Tournament was the first for the Cougars in postseason play since a
92-73 win over Gonzaga, March 14, 1996 in the first round of the
NIT...first win in the NCAA Tournament for WSU since a 62-52
win over Weber State, March 17, 1983 in Boise...Ivory Clark
scored a team-high 19 points and added six rebounds and a careerhigh
tying five blocks...Taylor Rochestie added 15 points, five
rebounds and four assists...Derrick Low and Kyle Weaver chipped
in 12 and 10 points, respectively...Weaver pulled down a team-high
