WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2017): Outdoor - Threw javelin PR distance of 48.76m/160-0 for third place at Pac-12 Championships (5/14/17, Eugene)…mark is ninth-best in WSU history…at NCAA West Region placed 41st in javelin with throw of 40.95m/134-4.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Baldwin High School...three as a middle blocker/right side hitter in volleyball for coach Jill Brown...four as a thrower for track coach Ted Zuzzio...junior season Bulldogs were runners-up at 4A Division II state volleyball tournament...named to All-Frontier League volleyball team as senior…during prep track career, state javelin championships finishes included sixth as freshman, first as sophomore, third as junior, and tossed a PR throw of 160-8 to win title as senior…mark is ninth-best in Kansas state history…also won 2016 discus state title with throw of 134-11 and was runner-up in shot put with PR throw of 38-3 1/2…Bulldogs girls track team won four consecutive state 4A championships…named all-league in track as junior and senior…three-time selection to All-Area Girls team by Lawrence Journal World including being named Athlete of the Year as senior.

Born in February 1998 in Baldwin City, Kansas...father Kris Kehl is a salesman who played football at Pittsburg State...mother Dina Kehl is a teacher and was a track and field competitor at Central Missouri…older sister Katie is a senior thrower on the Oklahoma State track and field team...brother Kade...enjoys canoeing, kayaking, riding horses, and outside activities...Letterman's Club all four years...vice president and president during four years on student council...plans to pursue a psychology major at WSU.
