WASHINGTON STATE CAREER

Junior (2016-17) Broke the Washington State school record in the 100 back at the Pac-12 Championships touching the wall in 54.46, an NCAA ‘B’ Standard Time…earned three wins during the season…against UCLA and Utah in the 50 free, and versus NAU in the 100 free…a member of four WSU relay teams that clocked season-best times this season…anchor for the 400 medley relay team that finished with a season-best time at 3:41.23…the 200 medley relay swam a season-best time of 1:39.65…the 200 freestyle relay finished with the season-best time of 1:31.63…in the 400 freestyle relay team swam the best time of the season at 3:21.38.

Sophomore (2015-16) – Broke three personal records and placed in the WSU Top-10 List three times at the Pac-12 Championships…in the 50 yard freestyle, finished twelfth with a time of 22.68, the second-fastest time in school history…swam the second-best time in WSU history in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.78, finishing first in the ‘C’ final…earned the fifth-fastest time in school history in the 100 back stroke touching the wall at 54.96…earned two wins during the season, against Seattle in the 100 backstroke, and facing Nebraska in the 50 backstroke…anchor for the 200 medley relay team that broke the school record at the Pac-12 Championships, touching the wall at 1:39.13…also a member of three other relay teams that clocked season-best times…the 400 medley relay swam a season best time of 3:40.47…the 200 freestyle relay finished with the season best time of 1:31.34…finally, the 400 freestyle relay team swam the best time of the season at 3:21.05.

Freshman (2014-15) – Member of the 200 free relay team that broke the WSU school record twice this season…at the Hawkeye Invitational, the WSU quartet touched the wall in 1:31.56…the same team shaved nearly half of a second off its previous record, with a time of 1:31.09 at the Pac-12 Championships to finish sixth…also clocked a career-best time of 23.17 in the 50 free at the Pac-12 Championships…the time is the fifth-fastest in WSU history…swam a career-best time in the 100 free, clocking the seventh-fastest time in Cougar history with a time of 50.76…in the 100 back, swam a personal best of 55.80 in the ‘C’ final, finishing fourth…the performance ranks sixth on the WSU all-time top-10 list...as the anchor on the WSU 200 medley relay team, set a Gibb Pool record against Arizona State with a time of 1:42.52 before besting the mark with a season-best time of 1:40.68 at the Pac-12 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER

Earned four varsity letters at Wenatchee High School under coach James Elwyn…a four-time all-conference first team member…as a freshman, helped team win league and district championships… finished third in 100 free and fourth in 50 free at state championships…qualified for the ‘A’ final at the WIAA 4A State Championships all four years in the 50 free and 100 free…as a sophomore, finished second in 100 free at state championships and 3rd in 50 free…set school records in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, and 400 freestyle relay…rewrote record books again as a junior, while taking first in the 100 free at the 4A State Championships…state runner-up in 50 free…as a senior, took second in the 100 free at state championships and third in the 50 free and 200 medley relay.

PERSONAL

Born in Renton, Wash…member of the Girl Scouts and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America…father Matthew attended WSU…mother Darcy also attended WSU and swam for the Cougars…sister Kelsey attended WSU and swam for the Cougars before being named coordinator of operations for the team…older brother Cameron…hobbies include camping and spending time with family and friends.
