Alex Covill Named to WCC All-Academic Team, Five Earn Honorable Mention

PULLMAN, Wash. (March 4, 2026) – Washington State women's basketball had six earn West Coast Conference All-Academic honors, as announced by the WCC Wednesday morning.
Alex Covill led the way, being named to the WCC All-Academic Team, while Charlotte Abraham, Marta Alsina, Lauren Glazier, Keandra Koorits and Eleonora Villa all earned All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Alex Covill – Human Development, 3.91
Despite missing time this season due to injury, Covill has still accumulated the fifth-most blocked shots in the WCC and ranks 140th in the nation with 33. Covill also leads the team in shooting percentage from the floor at 51.4 percent and was named to the WSU President's Honor Roll.
Charlotte Abraham – Human Biology, 3.89
Abraham has played in and started every game for the Cougars this season, leading the team in 3-point percentage (35.6) and in total rebounds (191). She also ranks top-10 in the WCC in both made threes and 3-point percentage and was named to the WSU President's Honor Roll.
Marta Alsina – Digital Technologies, 3.81
Alsina has played in all but two games this season for the Cougars and is one of the strongest defenders on the team. She is sixth on the team in total blocks and fifth in total steals, and was named to the WSU President's Honor Roll.
Lauren Glazier – Social Sciences, 3.45
Despite missing time due to injury, Glazier has appeared in 23 games for the Cougars this season. She has tallied a 35.6 field goal percentage and is third on the team with nine blocked shots this year.
Keandra Koorits – Finance, 3.84
Koorits has appeared in every game for the Cougars this season, and ranks third on the team with an 81.5 free throw percentage to go along with a 36.8 field goal percentage. She is also fourth on the team in total points scored with 196 and fifth in total rebounds with 78, and was named to the WSU President's Honor Roll.
Eleonora Villa – Advertising, 3.79
Villa took another step forward this year, becoming one of the more dominant players in the nation. Among national ranks, the Lissone, Italy native is 42nd in field goal attempts (428), 41st in made field goals (196), 69th in total points scored (500) and 107th in points per game (16.1). In the WCC she ranks first in field goal attempts, second in made field goals, and third in both total points and points per game. Villa was also named to the WSU President's Honor Roll.
