BREMERTON, Wash. (Sept. 23, 2025) -- Washington State senior
Sam Renner shot a 5-under, 67, to lead the Cougars to a seventh-place finish during the final round of play at The Tindall, played at the 7,179-yard, par-72 Gold Mountain Golf Club Olympic Course.

As a team, WSU shot an even-par, 288, Tuesday and finished the 54-hole event at 3-under, 861, seventh in the 14-team field. BYU lead wire-to-wire to finish at 37-under, 827, five strokes ahead of Utah and 19 shots better than host Washington, which finished third.

Renner entered the final round at even par before a bogey at the par-3, fifth, pushed him to 1 over. An eagle on the next hole, his second of the tournament, and a bogey-free back 9 which included four birdies, propelled him 17 spots up the leaderboard to finish his 54 holes at 211, 11th overall.

Junior
Ben Mulder five birdies and four bogeys on his way to a 1-under, 71, in the final round. Mulder's 54-hole score of 2-over, 218, ties him for 37th overall. Also finishing at 2-over, 218, was sophomore
Dylan Burcham, he shot a 3-over, 75, on Tuesday's final round. Burcham finished tied for 37th.

Freshman
Dylan Boenning completed his second tournament as a Coug with a 4-over, 76. After four bogeys in his first seven holes, Boenning steadied himself and fired 11-straight pars to finish his round, His two-day score of 3-over, 219, ties him for 44th overall. Redshirt-junior
Ben Borgida posted a final-round score of 3-over, 75, a round that featured three birdies, as he finished his event at 5-over, 221, tied for 55th overall.

At The Tindall Invitational tournament, sophomore
Tate Bruggeman aced the par-3, 165-yard seventh hole at the Cascade course en route to a 4-under, 68, Tuesday, played on the 6,775-yard, par-72 Cascade Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club. Bruggeman opened his final round with a birdie at the first, before eagling the par 3 seventh. Two birdies and a bogey on the back 9 ended his event as he moved up four spots to finish tied for fifth at 5-under, 211.

Sophomore
Garrett Harrison shot a bogey-free round of five-under, 67, which included three birdies and an eagle on the par 5, 609-yard 15th. Harrison jumped up seven spots on the leaderboard and finished tied for 14th at 1-over, 217. Freshman
Christian Flick posted a birdie and two bogeys on his final round as he completed the 54-hole event at 6-over, 222, tied for 21st.

The Cougars are next in action Sept. 29-Oct. 1 when they compete at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
