PULLMAN, Wash. (Sept. 19, 2025) -- Washington State Tennis will send three players to the 2025 ITA All-American Championships, Sept. 20-28 at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. Seniors Eva Alvarez Sande and Maxine Murphy, along with junior Yura Nakagawa will participate in the pre-qualifying singles rounds while Murphy and Alvarez Sande will begin doubles play in the qualifying round Monday, Sept. 22.

The 2025 All-American Championships are one of the premier collegiate tennis events each year. The pre-qualifying rounds run Sept. 20-21, followed by the qualifying rounds Sept. 22-23 and the main draw, Sept. 24-28.

Alvarez Sande will begin her tournament by facing UCLA's Olivia Center in the first round Saturday at 8:30 a.m. PT. Murphy squares off against Duke's Claire An in her first round at 8 a.m. PT, while Nakagawa will face Harvard's Charlotte Owensby at 8:30 a.m. PT.
