HOUSTON (February 20, 2025) – Washington State Swimming won three Mountain West Conference Titles on day two of the conference championships Thursday.
The Cougars, who won the 200 medley relay on Wednesday's opening night, saw junior
Emily Lundgren win the 200 IM, freshman
Darcy Revitt win the 50 free and the 400 medley relay closed day two with a win.
The day opened with Revitt breaking the school record in the 50 free with a 21.89 in the morning prelims, breaking Chloe Larson's previous top mark of 22.13 in 2021.
Lundgren claimed her first individual title with a 1:57.81 in the evening 200 IM final, breaking her own school-record in the event. Lundgren's mark was also an NCAA B time while sophomore
Ariel Wang finished fifth in the event with a 2:00.28, good for the fourth-fastest time in program history.
In the evening 50 free final, Revitt posted an NCAA B time with a winning 22.02 while senior
Emma Wright placed fifth with a 22.71, the fifth-fastest time in program history.
The Cougars closed the day with a 400 medley win by junior
Anna Rauchholz, Lundgren, junior
Dori Hathazi and Wright with a school-record 3:34.13. Rauchholz set a school record after leading off with a 53.34 in the 100 back.
Through eight events, WSU sits in sixth with four event titles.
Friday's prelims are set for 8:30 a.m. (PT) and the finals will start at 4 p.m. (PT).
