Washington State women's volleyball will play its final two matches of the 2025 season this week, both on the road, starting at in Santa Clara on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. before concluding the trip at San Francisco on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 12 p.m. noon. Both matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE
The Cougars are tied for fourth with Santa Clara in the West Coast Conference standings with a 10-6 conference record and a 16-10 overall record. The team had a strong non-conference schedule with a 6-4 overall record on a trio of preseason tournaments, including close losses to No. 23 Utah and No. 24 Dayton in which they went toe-to-toe. Statistically, WSU has been one of the top teams in the nation in serving, setting and attacking, ranking 18th in aces per set (1.88), 94th in assists per set (12.19), 100th in hitting percentage (.235), and 84th in kills per set (13.23). Additionally, the team ranks first in the WCC in kills per set, second in aces per set and assists per set, and third in hitting percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
WSU plays Santa Clara and San Francisco, each for the second time this season after defeating them both in Pullman back in September. The Cougars are 9-5 all-time against the Broncos, and 4-6 all-time against the Dons.

WE LOVE LUCIE
Lucie Blazkova is fourth in the nation and first in the WCC in hitting percentage with her mark of .452, only .002 points behind second-ranked Haley Yount of Jacksonville (.454), and .015 points behind Nebraska's Andi Jackson's national-leading .467 mark. She is also second in the WCC in blocks per set (1.23) and third in total blocks (116) ranking 59th, and 112th nationally in each of those categories, respectively.

BLAZKOVA'S BLOCKING
With 68 career solo blocks, the redshirt-sophomore ranks seventh all-time at WSU in that category. The program record is 195, set by Carrie Couturier (1988-91).

ACES HIGH
Lucie Blazkova tied the WSU all-time single match record with 7 service aces in the season opener sweep of Lafayette on 8/29. Then at Seattle U on 10/2 Tinons Munar Galmes had six service aces, tying for the next-most in program history.

WSU WEEKLY AWARDS
Eliana Ti'a was WCC Freshman of the Week in week one (9/1) and then earned it again for her second-straight week in week two (9/8), along with Lucie Blazkova's first Offensive Player of the Week honor. Blazkova earned her second Offensive Player of the Week nod in week eight (10/20), and her third in week 10 (11/3).

PRESEASON RANKINGS
Washington State volleyball was picked to finish fourth in the Preseason WCC Coaches' Poll, tied with Oregon State, while redshirt-sophomore Lucie Blazkova was named to the 2025 WCC Preseason Team.
