IOWA CITY, Iowa (November 20, 2025) – Washington State Swimming recorded four more wins to sit in second place after day three of the Hawkeye Invite hosted by the University of Iowa Thursday.

The Cougars trail on Nebraska after recording three school records and eight WSU Top-10 times as seniors
Lauren Wille (200 free),
Emily Lundgren (100 breast) and
Anna Rauchholz (100 back) each tallied wins. The 400 medley relay team closed the day with a win, a school record and meet record. WSU continues to lead Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, Miami, UConn, Iowa State and Northern Iowa.

In the morning prelims, sophomore
Ashlyn Hernandez continued her solid week with a WSU Top-10 time in the 100 breast, posting a 1:01.41 for the fourth-fastest 100 breast time in program history. Senior
Anna Rauchholz followed by breaking her own school record in the 100 back with a 53.24 while junior
Jade Castro went 54.25 in the same event for a WSU Top-10 time, the fifth-fastest time in program history.

Sophomore
Issabelle Parrish opened the evening finals with a 54.55 in the 100 fly, good for her first career WSU Top-10 and eighth-fastest 100 fly time in program history. Junior
Ariel Wang followed with a third-place finish in the 400 IM (4:15.13) before senior
Lauren Wille won the 200 free with a 1:46.78. In the 100 breast final, the Cougs went 1-2 as senior
Emily Lundgren won with a 59.42 and Hernandez was close behind with a 1:00.77 for another WSU Top-10 time as the second-fastest 100 breast time in program history.

The wins kept coming as Rauchholz capped her record-setting day by breaking her own 100 back record again, posting a 52.57 to win the event. Castro finished fourth and added her second WSU Top-10 time of the day, touching in 54.06 for the fourth-fastest time in program history.

The Cougars closed the day with another win, school record and meet record, this time by the 400 medley relay team of Rauchholz, Hernandez, Lundgren and sophomore
Darcy Revitt with a 3:33.12. The "B" 400 medley relay team of Castro, Wille, senior
Addyson Lewis and freshman
Barbora Mileisyte posted a 3:40.69, good for seventh out of the 30 competing relay teams.

Friday's day four of the Hawkeye Invitational will see the Cougars compete in the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 400 free relay with prelims set for 8 a.m. (PT) and finals set for 2 p.m. (PT).
