Washington State women's volleyball hosts Pacific on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. in Bohler Gym before hitting the road to take on Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore. on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Thursday's match is F.R.I.E.N.D.S. night where the theme in Bohler is based on the popular 90's sitcom. Being the night before Halloween, there will also be a costume ticket promotion where fans who dress up receive a discounted ticket at the door.
ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE
The Cougars are fourth in the West Coast Conference standings with a 6-3 conference record and a 12-7 overall record. The team wrapped up their non-conference schedule with a strong 6-4 overall record on a trio of preseason tournaments, including close losses to No. 23 Utah and No. 24 Dayton in which they went toe-to-toe. Statistically, WSU has been one of the top teams in the nation in serving, setting and attacking, ranking 35th in aces per set (1.81), 57th in kills per set (13.46), 67th in assists per set (12.33) and 106th in hitting percentage (.233). Additionally, the team ranks second in the WCC in kills per set and assists per set, and third in aces per set and hitting percentage.
SERIES HISTORY
WSU heads into its seventh meeting all-time with Pacific as the Tigers lead the all-time series 4-2. Then the Cougs will play Oregon State for the 79th time in program history with WSU holding the advantage 51-27 all-time against the Beavers.
WE LOVE LUCIE
Lucie Blazkova is ninth in the nation in hitting percentage with her mark of .435 through 19 matches this season, leading the WCC. She is also third in the WCC in total blocks (83) and fourth in blocks per set (1.19), ranking 133rd and 93rd in the nation, respectively.
BLAZKOVA'S BLOCKING
With 61 career solo blocks, the redshirt-sophomore ranks eighth all-time at WSU in that category. The program record is 195, set by Carrie Couturier (1988-91).
ACES HIGH
Lucie Blazkova tied the WSU all-time single match record with 7 service aces in the season opener sweep of Lafayette on 8/29. Then at Seattle U on 10/2 Tinons Munar Galmes had six service aces, tying for the next-most in program history.
WSU WEEKLY AWARDS
Eliana Ti'a was WCC Freshman of the Week in week one (9/1) and then earned it again for her second-straight week in week two (9/8), along with Lucie Blazkova's first Offensive Player of the Week honor. Blazkova earned her second Offensive Player of the Week nod in week eight (10/20).
PRESEASON RANKINGS
Washington State volleyball was picked to finish fourth in the Preseason WCC Coaches' Poll, tied with Oregon State, while redshirt-sophomore Lucie Blazkova was named to the 2025 WCC Preseason Team.

The Cougars have another bye next week before a home match against Pepperdine on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
