No. 7 Washington State set for road match at No. 6 Oregon Sunday on Pac-12 Insider

Seventh-ranked Washington State is 2-1 so far this season against the AVCA top-10.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Following a perfect 11-0 month of September which included three top-25 wins and two wins against the nation's top-10 teams, No. 7 Washington State volleyball (13-1, 3-0 Pac-12) gets set to open the month of October with another top-10 match, this time taking on No. 6 Oregon (12-1, 2-0 Pac-12) Sunday beginning at noon.  Sunday's match from Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore., will be streamed live on Pac-12 Insider and broadcast live for radio listeners on Pullman Radio KQQQ.

>> Washington State is ranked No. 3 in the NCAA and second in the Pac-12 as a team with a .316 hitting percentage this season. (as of 9/28) WSU's .506 attack percentage vs. Tulsa was the highest of any Pac-12 team over an opponent so far this season.
>> WSU has tied the program record for aces in a 3-set match in each of the past two seasons.  The Cougars dropped in 14 aces vs. FDU at the 2022 Fairfield Invitational and had 14 aces in its 2023 home opener against Northwestern State.
