PULLMAN, Wash. (September 14, 2023) – Washington State Swimming held its annual Crimson and Gray Intrasquad Scrimmage at Gibb Pool Friday evening.

Team White (138) claimed the three-team meet, beating Team Gray (125) and Team Black (121) despite impressive performances from Team Black's
Emily Lundgren and Team Gray's
Dori Hathazi who each tallied 30 points. Juniors
Noelle Harvey (24) and
Angela Di Palo (22), and freshman Maddy Parker (20) each scored 20+ points to help Team White, who was coached by assistant coach
Russell Whitaker, earn the victory.

Di Palo won the 200 freestyle, Harvey claimed the 500 freestyle and
Kiana Swain won the 200 back for Team White while Parker and Di Palo closed the night and clinched the win finishing second and third in the 50 freestyle, respectively.

2023 NCAA participant
Emily Lundgren won the 200 IM, 100 breaststroke and 200 breast stroke to lead Team Black while fellow 2023 NCAA participant
Dori Hathazi posted wins in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 400 IM, breaking her own Gibb Pool record in the 200 fly along the way.

Sophomore
Anna Rauchholz won the 100 backstroke for Team Gray, Di Palo won the 200 free for Team White and
Selena Duran Ortiz won the 100 freestyle and 50 freestyle for Team Gray.

The Cougars open the season at the Fresno State Invite Oct. 6-7 before hosting UCLA at Gibb Pool Oct. 13.
