PULLMAN, Wash. (Sept. 17, 2023) – The Washington State women's golf team begins its 2023-24 schedule when it heads across the state to compete in the 2023 Leadership and Golf Invitational, hosted by Seattle University, Sept. 18-19.  
 
The Course and Tournament Format
The 2023 Leadership and Golf Invitational will be held at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash. The course will play as a par-72 at 6,022 yards.
 
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, Sept. 18 and conclude Tuesday with a final 18 holes.

The Field
In addition to Washington State and host Seattle, the field includes BYU, Cal Poly, Colorado, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, South Alabama, UC Riverside, USC and Washington.

WSU Golf
Head Coach Sofie Aagaard begins her second season leading the Cougars. The 2023-24 Cougar squad returns four members from last season, including junior Madelyn Gamble, who ended last season with a third-place finish at the 2023 Pac-12 Golf Championships.
