HOUSTON, Texas (November 20, 2021) – Washington State Women's Swimming capped a record-setting week with two more school records and five more Top-10 times on the final day of the Phill Hansel Invitational hosted by the University of Houston Saturday.

The Cougars finished the three-day meet with five school records and 12 WSU Top-10 times.

One day after breaking the school record in the 400 IM, senior
Taylor McCoy added another one with a top time in the 200 back after posting a 1:56.12 in the morning preliminary race to break Loree Olson's record of 1:56.35 in 2013. In the evening session, McCoy recorded another NCAA "B" time with a 1:56.26 to finish second overall while freshman
Noelle Harvey recorded a 1:59.00 in the B Final of the 200 back, good for tenth-fastest in WSU history.

Later in the day, the Cougars posted their second relay record of the week with a 3:19.23 in the 400 free relay two days after setting a new top time in the 200 free relay. In Saturday's 400 free relay win, the team of senior

Chloe Larson added an NCAA "B" time to win the 100 free while freshman
Angela Di Palo posted a pair of WSU Top-10 times in the 100 free, tallying the ninth-fastest time in the morning preliminary and later tied for the fourth-fastest time in WSU history with a 49.78.

Mackenzie Duarte capped her week by finishing second in the 200 back prelims with an NCAA "B" time. Freshman
Ilaria Moro finished her week with a pair of WSU Top-10 times in the 200 fly, recording the eight-fastest time in school history during the morning preliminary and later posted the seventh-fastest time during the evening final.

The Cougars finished in fourth place out of nine teams with seven of the nine schools earning points in diving. WSU does not have diving.

WSU will have the month of December off from competition and will host the PNW Invite Jan. 15-16.
