Cougs to Face #8 Oregon on FS1

OPENING FIVE
> The Cougs are back in Beasley after a weekend roadtrip to California to play Cal and Stanford. WSU enters the week 10-7 overall and 1-3 in Pac-12 play.
> WSU 8-2 at home on the year including its one win in conference play. This week the Cougs will look to get back on track beginning with #8 Oregon Thursday, the first ranked team WSU will face on the year.
> Isaac Bonton has been the most consistent scorer for the Cougs as of late with a six-game double-digit scoring streak including all four Pac-12 games. In the last three games Bonton has shot 45% going 14-of-31 from the floor with a 1.8 A/T ratio.
> Daron Henson made his second appearance for the Cougs off the bench (first since the opener) and scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from deep. Henson got his shot with injuries mounting for the Cougs taking out Deion James, Jaylen Shead, Marvin Cannon, and Tony Miller.
> WSU ranks 18th nationally in turnover per game (11.1) and 12th in turnover margin (5.1). WSU turns the ball over just 15.5% of its possessions (10th best in the nation).

GAME INFORMATION - VS OREGON
WSU returns home for the Oregon schools with #8 Oregon Thursday night before hosting Oregon State Saturday. Oregon is the first ranked team the Cougs will face on the year. The Ducks have won the last four including three last season including at the Pac-12 Tournament. Oregon is one of the most efficient offenses in the country scoring 114.4 pp100 (4th nationally).

Isaac Bonton reached double figures in scoring for the sixth consecutive game, netting 15 points for the Cougars who have lost three of four to open conference play since a six-game nonconference winning streak. Jeff Pollard had a game-high 10 rebounds and scored eight points. Daron Henson, who hadn't played since a two-minute appearance in the Cougars' season-opening win over Seattle, was 4-of-6 from 3-point range and scored 12 points.

INJURIES MOUNTING
The Cougs enter the week hobbled with Deion James, Marvin Cannon, and Jaylen Shead all hobbled and missing extended time. In addition, Tony Miller missed the Cougs game at Stanford battling a leg injury. Due to the injuries the Cougs have looked towards their army of freshmen to pick up the slack.
