OPENING FIVE
> The Cougs look to get back on track after falling at Cal, 73-66, Thursday night in their first road Pac-12 contest of the year.
> WSU is 1-2 in true road games and take on a Stanford team that is top in the Pac-12 at 13-2 overall. Stanford has won the last six between the two teams and the Cougs have not won at Stanford since 2011.
> Isaac Bonton has been the most consistent scorer for the Cougs as of late with a five-game double-digit scoring streak including all three Pac-12 games. In the last two games Bonton has shot 50% going 10-of-20 from the floor with a 1.8 A/T ratio.
> WSU ranks 7th nationally in turnover per game (10.6) and 5th in turnover margin (6.1). WSU turns the ball over just 14.9% of its possessions (6th best in the nation).
> Coug freshmen Noah Williams and Ryan Rapp have begun to make their presence felt with Williams spearheading the Cougars' defensive efforts late in games. Williams scored a career-best 16 points at Cal and was +5 overall on the court to lead WSU.

GAME INFORMATION - VS STANFORD
WSU finishes its brief weekend tip to California with Stanford Saturday evening as the Cougs look to snap a six-game skid against the Cardinal dating back to 2015. It will be a tall task for WSU which last won at Stanford 61-58, Jan. 15, 2011. The Cardinal sit atop the conference at 13-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play after posting a 14-1 run over the final four minutes to beat Washington Thursday. The Cardinal are #1 in the conference in scoring defense at 58.1 ppg as well as opposing 3pt% allowing just 29.2% from deep.

The Cougars, who rallied from 11 down to beat UCLA in overtime last week, nearly came back again. Elleby had five points as part of a 7-0 run then Williams scored four points to spark a 9-0 run. Williams made two free throws with 55.9 seconds left to pull Washington State within 69-66. Bradley followed with his second 3-pointer of the night then made one of two free throws with 17.6 seconds left after Isaac Bonton missed a 3-point attempt.

THE TURNOVER GAME
Entering the week the Cougs remain one of the best in the nation at taking care of the ball with just 171, 10.7 per game, ranking 7th in DI. The Cougs rank 6th in the nation turning the ball over just 14.9% of possessions. 
On the other end the Cougs have forced 16.7 turnovers (36th nationally) thanks to 6.8 steals per contest. WSU has turned those turnovers into 18.2 points per game.
Individually, CJ Elleby leads the way defensively at 1.88 (79th nationally).
