LAST TIME OUT
With an impenetrable defense and a swarming offense the Cougs overwhelmed the host Rainbow Wahine of Hawai'i, 1-0, Thursday night at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium in Honolulu. After settling into a rhythm midway through the opening half the Cougars finally broke through for what would be the lone goal of the game in the 41'. As they have done all season the Cougars took advantage of their size and athleticism in the air to get on the board when Shayna Whieldon out-jumped the Wahine defenders to head home a free kick from Brianna Alger.

OFFENSIVE DEPTH TAKES CENTER STAGE
Three-deep at every position it is no surprise that the overall depth has shown through as the Cougars' have 9 different goal scorers accounting for 21 goals. The Cougs also have five different game-winners on the year in five wins.
In addition, five of the nine scorers have been first time scorers (including grad-transfer Averie Collins scoring her first goal at WSU).
