TUCSON, Ariz. – The Washington State University Track and Field program saw two student-athletes,
Lindsey Schauble and
Ray Littles, competing in day one of the Pac-12 Multi-Event Championships Saturday afternoon.
Schauble turned in solid overall performances throughout the day with two seventh place finishes in the high jump with a mark of 5-feet 3 3/4 inches (1.62m), and in the shot put with a mark of 36-feet 2 1/4 inches (11.03m). Lindsey is currently in 11th place overall with 2,985 points at the conclusion of day one, and will look to finish strong and move up the ranks during day two of the completion Sunday.
Littles started the day impressively in the 100-meter dash, running a 10.70 for a new lifetime best and finishing first overall earning 929 points. Ray continued to put up strong numbers throughout the evening placing second in the 400-meter dash with a lifetime best of 48.66, third in the high jump with a mark of 6-feet 2 1/4 inches (1.89m), and a fifth place finish in the long jump with a mark of 22-feet 4 1/4 inches (6.81m). Ray finished day one in third place overall with 3,879 points and looks to compete for the top spot during day two of the Pac-12 Multi-Event Championships tomorrow.
