THIS WEEK
The Washington State women's golf team heads to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii to compete at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational Tuesday through Wednesday, Mar. 12 - 13. The tournament is hosted by the University of Hawaii.
THE FIELD
11 teams will be joining Washington State in the field including Gonzaga, Hawaii, Houston Baptist, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Seattle, SMU, No. 2 Texas, Texas A&M, UC Irvine, and UTEP.

Competing for the Cougars will be juniors
Elodie Bridenne and
Marie Lund-Hansen, freshmen
Amy Chu and
Darcy Habgood, and senior
Madison Odiorne. Competing individually will be redshirt-sophomore
Emily Baumgart and freshman
Cameron March.
LAST TIME ON THE GREEN
The team finished 13th at the Westbrook Invitaitonal with an overall score of 874(+10). Junior
Elodie Bridenne led the way for the Cougars, finishing the tournament tied for 24th, carding a 217(+1). Individually, freshman
Darcy Habgood posted a one-over, 217, through the three rounds to tie for 24th alongside Bridenne.
COUGARS INK THREE TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT
Three incoming student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to the Washington state women's golf team. The 2019 signing is comprised of
Darcy Habgood (Nambucca Heads, Australia), Ji-Ye Ham (Thailand), and Janine Surge (Seattle, Wash.). Habgood joined the Cougars this January and made her collegiate debut in match-up play against Colorado State.
COACHING STAFF
The team is led by tenth-year head coach
Kelli Kamimura, who led the women's golf team to eleven program records, a tournament title, and an individual NCAA berth in the 2017-18 season. WSU alumna Emma Betland is entering her fourth season as an assistant coach. Betland golfed at WSU from 2010-2013.
