THIS WEEK:Â The 28th-ranked Washington State Cougars (13-2) open Pac-12 play when they travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to face the University of Utah Friday at 11 a.m. PT at The George S. Eccles Tennis Center. WSU then continues their trip Sunday in Boulder, Co., when it faces Colorado at 9 a.m. PT.

ABOUT UTAH:Â Utah enters the match with a 6-2 overall record, having won its last two matches. WSU has defeated \the Utes two out of the last three meetings, including a 4-0 win last year in Pullman.

ABOUT COLORADO: Colorado begins the week with a 6-6 record. CU saw its brief two-match winning streak snapped the last time out, falling 4-3 at Boise State. The Cougars have won two of the last three meetings between the schools, including a 4-0 victory last year in Pullman.

LAST TIME OUT: Washington State Cougars picked up victories against #37 Kansas State, Nebraska and Iowa State. The win at Kansas State snapped a two-match skid to the Wildcats.

ROAD WARRIORS: Washington State is 15 matches into the season and Friday's match at Kansas State marks the 12th match the Cougars have played on the road. With trips to Missoula, Mont., Stanford, Calif., Waco, Texas, West Lafayette, Ind. Spokane, Manhattan, Kan., Lincoln, Neb., Salt Lake City, Boulder, Colo. and Fresno, Calif., WSU will return from Fresno having travelled more than 10,432 miles.

ITA RANKINGS:Â Washington State University women's tennis team is ranked No. 28 in the most recent ITA rankings. Earlier this year, WSU has held rankings of 28 (Feb. 26) and 15 (Feb. 19). The ranking is down from No. 15 last in last two weeks. The No. 15 ranking was the highest in program history. Additionally, Sophomore
Michaela Bayerlova moved to No. 38 in the singles rankings, down from No. 35 two weeks prior. Entering the doubles rankings this week were WSU's No. 1 duo of

MIKSOVSKA CLIMBING CAREER WINS LIST:Â Cougar senior
Aneta Miksovska enters the week with 92 career victories, tied for fourth place on the all-time wins list with Ksenia Googe. Next up on the list is Miksovska's former teammate, Elizaveta Luzina with 105 victories.
