OPENING XI
> Washington State looks to get back on track after going 0-1-1 at home against the Arizona schools last weekend.
> The Cougs suffered back-to-back home shutouts over a weekend of play for the first time since 2014 when they fell 1-0 to UCLA and USC at the end of conference play.
> Cougs have been held to just three goals in Pac-12 play. Over the weekend, WSU outshot its opponents 45-15 but were outscored 1-0 in 200 minutes of action.
> Nine of the Cougs' last 10 games have been decided by one-goal or fewer.
> WSU takes on an Oregon squad who fell to Stanford, 5-0, last Sunday. The Cougs have dominated the series lately with back-to-back wins and a seven game unbeaten streak.
> The Cougars fell from the top-25 in the United Soccer Coaches poll dropping 12 spots from #15 to #27. In the other major polls WSU sits at #12 in TopDrawerSoccer.com.
> Ella Dederick picked up her 5th shutout of the year and has 25 career shutouts (2nd all-time). She is the program's all-time leader in wins (46) and minutes (7187:45) and 3rd in saves (269)
> 10 different Cougars have scored on the year with Morgan Weaver and Averie Collins leading the way with five goals each. Seven different Cougs have scored game-winners with Collins and Makamae Gomera-Stevens tied at two. Both of Gomera-Stevens winners have come in Pac-12 play.
> Morgan Weaver, named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List to start the year, is tied for third all-time in program history in scoring with 33 goals and fifth in points with 74.
> Brianna Alger is #55 in the nation in assists per game at 0.46 (6 total) and tied for #4 in the Pac-12. WSU is #26 overall in assists per contest at 2.08 (27 total).
> On the road, the Cougs have been solid with an impressive 5-1-0 record with the one loss coming to the nation's best team in Stanford.

LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars finished their home weekend 0-1-1 despite a dominating performance on the stat sheet. In two games, WSU outshot the Arizona schools a whopping 45-15 and held a 19-7 advantage on corners only to come up empty on the scoreboard. The loss to Arizona was the sixth-straight for the Cougs while the draw with ASU was the first draw of the year for WSU. It was the first time since 2014 the Cougars' suffered back-to-back home shutouts over a weekend of play when they fell 1-0 to UCLA and USC at the end of conference play.

AN RPI GAME
Playing in the ultra-tough Pac-12 has its advantages as the Cougars enter the week ranked #21 in the RPI. Last season the Cougs were ranked #38 at the end of the year when WSU earned a home game in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
WSU is the fourth-highest ranked team in the Pac-12 trailing #1 Stanford, #4 USC, and #19 UCLA. The conference has eight teams inside the top-40 and five inside the top-22.
