> Washington State closes out nonconference play on the road in Las Vegas at the Duel in the Desert. The Cougs play two in the tournament facing Kansas Wednesday before taking on Northwestern or Wichita State Thursday in their final game before Pac-12 play begins Dec. 30.

> WSU and Kansas share one common opponent on the year Nebraska. The Cougs defeated the Huskers in what was coach Kamie Ethridge's first career win at WSU. Nebraska handed Kansas it's lone loss of the season.
> Borislava Hristova, a Cheryl Miller Watch List nominee, sits third in the Pac-12 in scoring at 21.7 ppg having scored double-figures in all nine games. She is 15th in the nation in scoring.
> Alexys Swedlund enters the game just 69 points away from 1,000 as she looks to become the 19th member of the club at WSU.
