ABOUT THE MATCHUPS
The Cougs continue at home with the mountain schools coming to Pullman beginning with Colorado Thursday night...Colorado started the year with six straight shutouts but fell 2-0 to #1 UCLA in their Pac-12 opener last week...Last season, the Cougs dropped a 1-0 decidion to the Buffs in Pullman when Colorado netted the game-winner in the 89th minute...the Cougs hold a 5-2 edge all-time against Colorado.

LAST TIME OUT
Three first half goals and 90 minutes of fast-paced action kicked off Pac-12 play at Lower Soccer Field as the Cougs (5-2-2) were edged, 2-1, by No. 2 Stanford (8-1-0) Thursday night. The Cardinal became the first team to score on WSU at home as they scored a pair of early goals before Maddy Haro answered back with a penalty strike in the 35' to put the Cougs on the board. Down 2-1 at the half, the Cougs had one big chance in the second half to tie the game, but a second awarded penalty kick was stopped by Stanford's Alison Jahansouz, preserving the Cardinal's one-goal advantage.

ABOUT THE BUFFALOES
The Buffs enter Thursday's contest having dropped their Pac-12 opener, 2-0, to #1 UCLA last week...despite the two goals given up, Colorado continues to be one of the stigiest teams in the country defensively having given up just six goals on the season while posting seven shutouts in 10 contests...leading the offensive attack is Taylor Kornieck with five goals including three game-winning strikes which is tied with WSU's Morgan Weaver for the most in the Pac-12...on the year, Colorado has outscored its opponents 19-6.
