SAN FRANCISCO – Washington State women's golf sophomore Madison Odiorne was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team, while her teammates junior Alivia Brown, senior Cherokee Kim and junior Bree Wanderscheid were named honorable mention, conference commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday.

Odiorne (Bend, Ore.) is undeclared and carries a 3.65 grade-point average. On the green, she played in 11 tournaments for the Cougars in 2016-17, maintaining a scoring average of 75.41, including four top-30 finishes.

Kim, Brown and Wanderscheid each earned honorable mention recognition from the conference. Kim is earning it for the third-consecutive season while Brown and Wanderscheid are earning the honors for the second-straight year.

Kim (DuPont, Wash.) is majoring in sport science with a 3.16 GPA. Gig Harbor, Wash.-native, Brown has a 3.54 GPA and is majoring in business, while Wanderscheid (Goldendale, Wash.) is a sport management major with a 3.15 GPA. Brown led the team with a 73.36 scoring average and notched four top-10 finishes and was selected to compete in the NCAA Regionals. Kim had a scoring average of 75.17 in 11 tournaments, while Wanderscheid maintained an average of 76.56 in 10 tournaments.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and participate in at least half of their team's scheduled regular season events.
