THIS WEEK: The Washington State women's tennis team returns to Pullman as they host Pac-12 rivals No. 31, Washington. The Cougars face the Huskies, Saturday, April 22 at 11:45 at the WSU Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Cougars enter the week with a 10-14 overall record, 0-9 in Pac-12 play. Washington enters the match with a 15-8 overall record, and 4-5 in conference action.

SENIOR DAY IN PULLMAN: Prior to the Washington match, the Cougars will recognize their lone senior,
Victoria Matejevic, prior to the match. Matejevic arrived in Pullman in time for the 2013-14 season and has been a steady presence in the Cougar line during her time.
WASHINGTON STATE/WASHINGTON HISTORY: Washington leads the all-time series, 45-11. Last season the Huskies captured a 4-1 victory in Seattle. The Washington line-up boasts a nationally-ranked singles player, No. 32 Stacey Fung, and a nationally ranked doubles pair, No. 44 Miki Kobayashi and Nour Abbes. Â
UP NEXT: The Cougars conclude the 2016-2017 season as they travel to Ojai, Calif., to compete in the Pac-12 Championship. The 2017 Pac-12 Tennis Championships will take place April 26-29, with the format being a team event for the first time, rather than an individual championship as in prior years. Live TV coverage of the team finals will air on Saturday, April 29 starting with the women's championship at 3 p.m.Â
YUSUPOVA CONTINUES STRONG FRESHMAN SEASON: Freshman
Guzal Yusupova has been playing her best tennis of the season over the past month, and been the Cougars' most productive player during the span. She boats a 14-5 dual match record this season, including a 5-2 record in Pac-12 play at the No. 2 spot. Over her last 10 matches she is 5-2, including wins over USC and UCLA three weeks ago, the first Cougar player to defeat both Los Angeles schools in the same weekend since 2002. Â
