Hannah Bruggman recorded the fastest times in program history in the 400 IM and 100 backstroke.

For the second-consecutive day, Bursch broke a school record previously held by her at the Pac-12 Championships. In the 400 IM, Bursch finished 19th with a time of 4:14.95 to give the Cougars six points.
Bruggman notched the record setting time in the preliminary round of the 100 back with a time of 54.46. In the finals, the Wenatchee, Wash., native finished 21st with a time of 55.01 to earn WSU four points.
Sophomore
Jasmine Margetts also swam in the 400 IM where she finished 20th and tallied five more points for the Cougars. Margetts touched the wall at 4:16.94, after clocking a personal record in the preliminaries at 4:16.23, the third fastest time in school history.
Angela Mavrantza continued her impressive freshman campaign by climbing the record books once again. She recorded the second-fastest time in program history in the 100 breast by touching the wall in at 1:01.87. The Athens, Greece, native finished 17th (first in the 'C' Final) and picked up nine points for WSU.
In the 100 fly, junior
Anna Brolin grabbed 12 points with a 15th-place finish, touching in at 54.02. Senior
Elise Locke finished after Brolin at 54.82, in 19th place to earn the team four points. Senior
Haley Rose Love tallied one point for the Cougars with a time of 56.02 to finish in 24th.
In the 200 free preliminaries, junior
Rachel Thompson clocked a time of 1:49.23, placing her fifth on the WSU Top 10 list. Freshman
Ryan Falk touched the wall in 1:49.64, the seventh-fastest time in school history.
Washington State ended Friday's action with an eighth place finish in the 400 medley relay. WSU's quartet of Bruggman, Mavrantza, Brolin and Love clocked a time of 3:41.33, adding 44 points to the Cougars' total.
Washington State remains in the eighth place with, ahead of Oregon State, through 14 events. Stanford currently leads the competition with 1,126 points.
The Pac-12 Championships conclude tomorrow with the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 400 free relay. Saturday's preliminary action begins at 10:30 a.m., while the final events start at 6:00 p.m. and can be seen on the Pac-12 Networks.
