ABOUT THE MATCHUPS
For the first time in Pac-12 play the Cougs hit the road as WSU heads to Eugene to take on Oregon...WSU played its first three games in conference play at home going 1-2-0 in those matches with a win over #24 Utah last Sunday...against Oregon, the Cougs are riding a five match unbeaten streak after drawing 1-1 last season in Pullman...two seasons ago the Cougs won 2-1 in Eugene and currently hold a 5-1-4 record at Oregon all-time while leading the all-time series 11-4-6.

A slow burn in the first half turned into a full on explosion in the second half for the Cougars (6-3-2, 1-2-0) as Washington State netted three goals in the final 45 minutes of play to power past #24 Utah (5-4-2, 0-2-1) Sunday afternoon at Lower Soccer Field. The Cougs took advantage of their aerial superiority on a pair of corner kicks finished off by
Maegan O'Neill to jump on the Utes. The two goals by the junior defensive mid were the first goals of her career with the game-winner coming just four minutes into the new half. With O'Neill putting the Cougs up a pair of goals,
Morgan Weaver put the game away in the 68' with a perfectly hit side-volley for the third and final goal of the game.
ABOUT THE DUCKS
Oregon enters the day 6-5-0 overall but 0-3-0 in Pac-12 play having been outscored 7 goals to 2 in their three conference contests...taking on the LA schools last week on the road, the Ducks dropped a 2-0 decision to #1 UCLA before falling to #7 USC, 2-1, after the Trojans scored two second half goals to rally for the win...the Ducks are elad offensively by Kyra Fawcett with four goals while Marissa Everett has added three goals to go with three assists...As a team, Oregon is +1 in goal differential having scored 14 goals while giving up 13...Halla Hinriksdottir has posted four shutouts in six wins while allowing 1.07 goals per game...The Ducks have played all three games in Pac-12 play on the road where they are 0-4 on the year compared to 4-1 at home at Pape Field.
