Five Early Football Signees Arrive on Campus

PULLMAN, Wash. – Five Washington State Football early signees arrived on campus and attended classes Monday.
 
Defensive back Sean Harper, defensive back Isaiah Love, offensive lineman Robert Valencia, wideout Anthony White Jr. and wide receiver Easop Winston each enrolled and attended classes at Washington State Monday. All five student-athletes will participate in spring practice.
 
Harper (6-2, 175) played the last two seasons at Holmes Community College in Mississippi for coach Jeff Koonz. This past season as a sophomore, Harper earned All-Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College honorable mention after making 25 tackles with two interceptions including one he returned for a touchdown. The Hartwell, Ga. native is the fourth-ranked junior college safety in the country by ESPN.com.
 
Love (6-0, 170) played at West Covina High School in West Covina, Calif. and was rated a three-star prospect by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com and the No. 16 cornerback in the West by Scout.com despite missing his 2015 senior season with an injury. As a junior, he tallied 28 tackles and one interception, rushed for 341 yards and nine touchdowns and caught 21 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns.
 
Valencia (6-5, 300) played the past two seasons at City College of San Francisco for coach Jimmy Collins. As a sophomore, Valencia was named to Northern California National Division All-Bay 6 League First Team. The Daly, Calif. native is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 18 overall junior college prospect by Scout.com and the No. 11 junior college tackle in the country by ESPN.com. He was teammates with current Cougars Anthony Gordon and Robert Taylor.
 
White (6-0, 165) attended Miami Central High School in Miami, Fla. and is rated a four-star prospect by ESPN.com and Rivals.com. He is also ranked the No. 53 wideout in the country by Rivals.com and the No. 6 athlete in Florida by Scout.com.
 
Winston (5-11, 170) played the last two seasons with Valencia at City College of San Francisco for coach Jimmy Collins, earning Northern California National Division All-Bay 6 League First Team honors after leading team with 71 receptions for 1,171 yards and 12 touchdowns. The San Mateo, Calif. led all California Collegiate Athletic Association receivers in receiving yards and was second in touchdown catches while also averaging a CCAA-best 106.5 yards-per-game.
