Washington State women's soccer returns to Lower Soccer Field when it hosts Seattle Thursday at 5 p.m., followed by a Sunday match against Boise State at 1 p.m. The Boise State match will be televised by the Pac-12 Netowrk.

Todd Shulenberger is in his second year at Washington State…In 2015 Shulenberger became the seventh head coach in program history after spending the previous two seasons as the associate head coach at Texas Tech…last season the Cougars reached the NCAA Championship for the fifth-straight season and finished with a 14-6 record.

COUGAR SOCCER ATTENDANCE AMONGST BEST NATIONALLY
Washington State leads the Pac-12 Conference in attendance through the first three weeks of the season, averaging 1,690 fans at Lower Soccer Field through four home games...WSU is fourth nationally among Power 5 schools this season, ranking fourth behind only South Carolina, Texas A&M and Penn State.
WSU SETS ATTENDANCE RECORD AGAINST BYU
During the Cougars' season-opener against No. 16 BYU, WSU drew a Lower Soccer Field record 2,623 fans for the match, eclipsing the previous mark of 2,251 set last season against Arizona (which was already nearly 600 fans more than 3rd on the all-time list)...in four home matches this season, WSU is averaging 1,690 fans per contest.
WASHINGTON STATE-SU: THE SERIES
Washington State is 11-1-0 all-time against Seattle, with the lone loss coming in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Championships in Pullman...in the last meeting, the Cougars scored three second-half goals en route to a 3-1 road win at Seattle in 2015...when playing at home the Cougars hold a 5-1-0 record.
WASHINGTON STATE-BSU: THE SERIES
Washington State is 3-0-1 all-time against Boise State dating back to a 2-0 victory in 1999, the first game in the series...in the last meeting, WSU posted a 2-1 win last year in Boise as
Nicolle Marlow's goal in the 53rd minute, the first of her career, proved to be the game winner...the Cougars won the lone match in Pullman, a 6-0 victory in 2012.
WEAVER RECORDS HAT TRICK
Freshman
Morgan Weaver has led WSU in shots following each game this season, but through the first four she had yet to convert a goal...that changed in the second minute against North Dakota State as the freshman finally broke through with a shot inside the box...Weaver wasn't done as she added two more in the contest for the first hat trick by a Cougar player since Eileen Maes had three goals in a win at Hawaii, Aug. 19, 2011.

KATO IN A GIVING MOOD, SETS SCHOOL RECORD
Senior
Kaitlyn Johnson felt especially giving Sunday night in WSU's 5-0 win over North Dakota State...the senior from Torrance, Calif. dished out assists on four of the five Cougar goals in her 62 minutes of action...it was the first time in school history a player had assisted on more than three goals, which had happened five previous times, but her fourth in the 61st minute put her on top of the single-game record.
DEDERICK ADDS ANOTHER CLEAN SHEET
Sophomore goalkeeper
Ella Dederick continues to make her way up the Cougar career goalkeeping charts...the sophomore from Camarillo, Calif. ranks sixth in wins with 17, tied for 10th in shutouts (6) and seventh in saves (113)...this season she is 3-2-0 with a 0.86 goals against average while making 15 saves in five matches.
