PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Director of Athletics Bill Moos has announced that the Cougars have agreed to a home-and-home football series with Kansas State, beginning in 2026.

The first game is scheduled to be played in Manhattan, Kan., Sept. 12, with the return contest Sept. 8, 2029 in Martin Stadium.
Â
"Kansas State joins Wisconsin as a Power 5 opponent that our fans can look forward to seeing in Martin Stadium," said Moos. "Additionally, Boise State and BYU provide regional home matchups which should be very appealing to our fan base."
Â
The 2026 game will mark the first time the two teams have faced each other. Earlier this spring the Cougars and Wildcats announced a two-game basketball series, beginning this fall.
